Who We Are

We are a body of believers shaped by the grace of God (Ephesians 2:8-9).  We love Him because He first loved us  (1 John 4:19).  God’s grace is fundamental to our personal attitudes, our corporate vision, our pursuit of the lost, our worship and our relationships.

2012 Group

The first members and attenders of CCW in 2012, when we were worshipping in homes.

We are committed to the means of grace.  We believe that God uses His ordinary means of grace to bless and grow us up in Him.  Therefore we are committed to studying His word, hearing it preached, prayer, fellowship and the sacraments of baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

We are a diverse church made up of believers from a variety of cultural and denominational backgrounds. Many in our congregation are Americans serving in the military. Yet because so many Germans and "Internationals" in our area speak English, our church is a rich mixture of people from all over the world.

We are Presbyterian which means that the church is ruled by elders. Christ is the only King of His church and the elders serve under Him to shepherd His people. Presbyterian also refers to being connected, supported and held accountable by other like minded churches. To learn more about our denomination, click HERE.

We are committed to the great comission  (Matthew 28:18-20)  and desire to give the most people the best opportunity to know Jesus. In every generation, the church of Jesus must be on mission to reach the lost and to reproduce herself. To that end, we are committed to the mission field that is right at at our doorstep.
